Italy Based Nigerian Businessman and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Francis Onabis has assures that Nigeria’s President Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari would fulfill all promises made during his electioneering campaign.
Onabis in a congratulatory message to Nigerians on the successful conduct of saturday poll assured that Buhari’s administration will bring succour to the long sufferings of people of the country after 16 years of misrule.
He said the change to a progressive central government will usher in social and developmental rebirth not witnessed in the last 16 years.
“As we celebrate this historic victory of our party, its time to reflect on the nation, our pains and gains in the struggle for a New Nigeria.
“No doubt the People’s General would lay the solid foundation of a New Nigeria, a Nigeria where things would begin to work, a country where people would be governed with fairness and justice,”Onabis said
He added that it’s time for all Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliation, to come together to support General Buhari and the APC government to build a nation in a positive way, which of course, should be the focus of the president-elect himself and every other political leader across the various political parties in the country.
Onabis while conmending the Nigerian voters, called for more participation of the citizens in electioneering process.
“For a country of over 180 million people, with less than 30 million voters is not very encouraging, voting is a fundamental duty to the state.
Onabis however saluted all APC Leaders and members who fought this fight for a change.
“Our leaders from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Chief John Oyegun, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Sam Nda Isaiah, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to all APC governors who piloted us to victory Nigerians will never forget your role during this struggle to liberate us.”
