As Nigerians get ready for the polls, the wife of the
All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Hajia Aisha
Buhari has admitted that her husband might be old but he is very fit to
rule the country.
According to her, her husband, Muhammadu Buhari and his party, APC would emerge winners of the presidential election scheduled for March 28, The Sun reports.
Aisha made this known yesterday, March 22, at the Government House in Kano, during her town hall meeting organised for her to meet with women groups and representatives from Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states.
Aisha expressed optimism that her husband would win based on the huge support he was receiving from all over the country, including the support of Nigerian women.

She assured the people that her husband and his political party
would fulfill all the promises they made during their campaign if they
win the elections.
Aisha noted that the people of the Northern region were being looked down upon as Almajiris.
She therefore urged them to see the forthcoming election as a challenge, and come out en masse to vote the APC to victory.
Aisha has been a great supporter of her husband’s election campaign. Last Thursday, she held a mega rally in Edo state, where she interacted with the Women in the state, saying the PDP’s attempt to paint her husband black in the tar of religion is a desperate attempt to deceive the people.
On March 16, she recently visited Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state as part of a two-day Citizen Outreach and Town hall meeting in in the state.
Her convoy was reportedly attacked by hoodlums at the popular Ilorin film house area located close to the Emir’s palace.
She therefore urged them to see the forthcoming election as a challenge, and come out en masse to vote the APC to victory.
